Latest Update: 7 June 2020
Whilst uncertainty still surrounds exactly when we will be able to welcome guests back to Ffynnondddewi, information from within the industry, leaves us hopeful that we will be able to re-open later this summer.
As a Greener Camping Club site our pitches are already super spacious (min. 15m by 15 m) but in order to make social distancing easier we have also reduced the number of available pitches on site.
We hope this extra space, along with contactless check in and payment methods, enhanced cleaning and disinfecting, the provision of hand sanitizer and cleaning products, distance markers for queues, and staggered timeslots for showers at peak times (morning and evening) in our two individual family bathrooms will ensure you can relax and enjoy your much longed-for holiday with us.
Full details of the additional steps we are taking to prevent the spread of COVID-19 will be sent to you ahead of your stay and these include:
15m spacing between pitches
Contactless check in and payment
Hand sanitising stations
Distance markers for shower/toilet queues
Enhanced waste management to prevent cross contamination
Self contained bathrooms
Staggered timeslots for showers to allow cleaning and disinfecting between guests
Enhanced cleaning and disinfecting of all other shared facilities
Disinfectant sprays and wipes in shared areas
Information for our cottage guests can be found on the coronavirus tab on our cottage website which you can access by clicking here.
We are sure that you will understand that not only must we protect our guests, but we live in a small rural community with many vulnerable residents and a large influx of visitors only heightens the risk to them as well as putting a strain on our health system and healthcare workers.
We recognize that these are unsettling times and we want you to know that your safety and wellbeing are our first priority. We are monitoring the situation constantly and will keep this page updated with the latest situation.
We have contacted all guests currently affected. Future guests will be contacted separately as the situation develops. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions you may have at any stage.
We are truly thankful to all of you for your support at this time and we look forward to welcoming you back to Ffynnonddewi as soon as we are able to.
Our very best wishes and stay safe
Luci, Gareth & Lola
